Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Landscape Design

Walk the lot with you, sketch the plan, pick the plants, hand you a yard you actually want to use — not a stock template.

A real design starts on the ground, not on a screen. We walk the property with you, listen to how you want to use it, take into account your sun exposure and HOA palette, and sketch options before any equipment shows up. You get a clear plan — plant palette, hardscape layout, irrigation zones, lighting plan — and a fixed quote against it.

  • Paver Patios & Walkways

Travertine, flagstone, or concrete pavers — set on the right base so they stay flat through 115° summers and monsoon rain.

We set pavers on a properly compacted base with geotextile underlayment and polymeric sand joints. Travertine cools to the touch, flagstone reads custom, concrete pavers come in dozens of patterns. We talk through what makes sense for your yard before quoting.

  • Synthetic Turf Installation

Pet-safe, kid-safe synthetic grass with proper drainage base — the green-year-round option that doesn’t need water.

Class-1 turf rated for AZ sun, installed over a compacted DG base with woven seams and infill. We pull the existing dead Bermuda first, grade for drainage, and bury the perimeter so the edges stay tight a decade later. Pet-rated turf comes with antimicrobial infill standard.

  • Rock & Boulder Work

Decomposed granite groundcover, river-rock dry creeks, and signature boulders set with intent — not piled in a corner.

Rock work either reads designed or it reads dumped — there is no middle ground. We size and place boulders for visual weight, layer DG and rip-rap for drainage, and build dry-creek beds that actually move monsoon water where you want it.

  • Desert Plantings

Saguaro, ocotillo, agave, palo verde, desert spoon — native and adaptive plants that thrive on Sonoran light and minimal water.

A real desert palette is more interesting than a sea of gravel. We design around mature size and bloom timing — palo verde for shade, agave and yucca for structure, brittlebush and lantana for color through the long summer. Everything goes in with proper amended soil and a drip line tuned to its species.

  • Outdoor Lighting Design

Path lights, uplit saguaros, step lights on patio risers — low-voltage LED that turns the yard into a place after sundown.

A yard you spent money on should not disappear at 7pm. We design low-voltage LED schemes that uplight specimen plants, wash the front of the house, light patio steps for safety, and stay within IDA dark-sky guidance so the stars still show.

  • Tree Service

Mesquite, palo verde, and citrus pruning timed to the right season — plus stump removal and cabling for monsoon-prone trees.

Desert trees prune differently than what most landscapers were trained on. Mesquites need structural pruning before they get top-heavy; palo verdes flower on second-year wood; citrus needs frost-protection in late winter. We time the work to the species, not the calendar.

  • Drip & Irrigation

Drip lines tuned per plant zone, smart controllers that watch the weather, and a tune-up before each summer.

Most desert landscapes fail because the irrigation is wrong — too much for cacti, too little for citrus, controller stuck on a 2018 schedule. We install zoned drip with WiFi controllers that adjust to evapotranspiration, walk you through the app, and check the system every spring.

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
